Become a member of the Institute and take part in reshaping a world freed from colonial modes of thinking and practice!

As a member, you will have free access to attend various programs, lectures, and social events at the Institute, participate in projects, as well as generous discounts on purchases of books published under the Institute's Writing Past Colonialism book series. You will receive regular updates of our programme (via both electronic and postal mail) and invitations to members only functions.

NB: Members electing to take up the journal subscription offer MUST provide a private residential mailing address and NOT a university or institutional address. This is required by the publishers of the journal, Taylor and Francis.

You can obtain your Annual Membership online, by mailing a cheque, or by paying cash in person at the Institute.

In person or by mail

Annual subscriptions run for 12 months from the date of payment. Personalised subscription reminder notices will be mailed to members one month before their subscriptions are due to expire. Members can pay their subscriptions in person at the Institute of Postcolonial Studies or by cheque mailed to the Institute.

Online memberships are processed through the PayPal secure server system, and will renew automatically each year. Once your membership subscription has been processed, we will forward you a receipt. You can opt to receive IPCS's flagship Journal, Postcolonial Studies, as part of your membership. The membership options are:
