Robyn Archer is a singer, writer, and artistic director. Her reputation for artistic direction began with the National Festival of Australian Theatre (Canberra); she went on to direct the Adelaide Festival of Arts and the Melbourne International Arts Festival. She created Ten days on the Island for Tasmania, spent two years as the Artistic Director of The European Capital of Culture, and curated the 2008 Alfred Deakin Lectures as well as many one-off events.

Robyn is a patron of the Australian Art Orchestra, Brink Productions, the Australian Script Centre and the Arts Law Centre.
