Carlos Eduardo Morreo is the Institute of Postcolonial Studies’ executive officer. Carlos also teaches global political economy and development in the School of Politics and International Relations at the Australian National University in Canberra. Previously, Carlos was a Research Fellow with the Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos Rómulo Gallegos (Fundación Celarg) in Caracas, where he edited its creative and critical research journal, SUR/versión, investigación y creación de America Latina y el Caribe. Carlos also lectured in social theory at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and in political philosophy at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. He has recently co-edited Postdevelopment in Practice: Alternatives, Economies, Ontologies (Routledge 2019) with Elise Klein.
