Readings to stir spirits

Commencing at 6pm this coming Thursday and running fortnightly we invite you to join us on Zoom for a reading of works selected to inspire, distract, provoke, uplift, and in other ways interrupt the gruelling funk of lockdown. 

Settle in and prepare to be transported. Enjoy the opportunity to exchange essential readings and more generally catch up with friends in the IPCS community!

Our first meeting will be led by Danish Sheikh, who will present a selection of readings under the theme Translating dark into bright. Drawing from poetry, literature, and theory, Danish will ask how we might sit with loss and find ways of practicing hope in the dark.
