The Murray Talk 2023: Farming Futures: Views from the Millewa-Mallee

Melinda Hinkson was 2023 Mildura Writer’s Festival/Arts Mildura Writer in Residence. Her Murray Talk presents insights gleaned from ongoing discussions with farmers and fruit growers in the Millewa-Mallee region of NW Victoria. Farming has always been challenging work, but in recent decades the pressures in farming have been intensifying. This talk was presented at the 2023 Mildura Writers’ Festival.
